Weight of the World, 2021

​A group exhibition inspired by Allen Ginsberg's Song, bringing together works that emphasize material presence, bodily experience, and forms of encounter beyond the screen. Installed on the exterior façade of the former bank building, Berk Kır's large scale photographic installation from You Have a Place Above My Head extended the exhibition into public space. Developed through photographs of everyday urban objects collected during walks, the series explores the latent genders of ordinary forms, allowing the work to return to the street from which its imagery originally emerged.
