New Lands, 2024

An inaugural group exhibition at Arkas Sanat Alaçatı bringing together 157 works by 155 artists under the age of forty from 29 private collections. Rather than organizing artists through shared movements or disciplines, the exhibition highlighted the emerging visual languages and experimental practices shaping a new generation of artists in Türkiye, placing them in dialogue with international contemporary art.

Berk Kır's Behind Little Plastic Hills was presented through a work drawn from a private collection. Combining pre-pandemic photographs with bubble wrap, the series reflects on shifting patterns of consumption, circulation, and material perception while questioning how contemporary images continue to acquire new meanings through changing social conditions.
