Look Up, the Starry Horizons of a Limited Geography, 2022

A group exhibition spanning six venues across Nilüfer, Bursa, bringing together works by 27 artists who approached political urgency from a hopeful, defiant perspective, using satire, laughter, dance, and irony to ask when, why, and how one refuses submission and looks up. At Pancar Deposu, one of the exhibition's six venues, works were presented under the section "Haz, Işıltı ve Kahkaha" (Pleasure, Glitter and Laughter), a punk-inflected, color-driven staging exploring pleasure and spectacle as embodied refusals of social control.

Kır presented large-scale photographic prints on tarpaulin, each measuring 200 x 300 cm, drawing on his series You Have a Place Above My Head alongside Self Meal, an independent work. Installed within the section's charged, celebratory atmosphere, the works extended his broader interest in photography as a material presence rather than a flat image, translating his practice into a scale and surface that let the photographs assert themselves physically within the space, in dialogue with the section's inquiry into laughter and pleasure as forms of resistance.
